ZL1 4.10 Gear?

Can't find too much information, but does anyone make a 4.10 or 4.11 gearset for the ZL1 rear end yet?

Doubtful. It doesn't need more gear.

I own a 14 SS 1LE that will be a track car, I am debating going ZL1 rear end vs a built truetrac SS rear end. The higher gear is useful in my case with my transmission ratios

i believe 4.10 wont fit in a ZL1 rear end but might in your SS. The ZL1 is a different, much stronger rear end. I think you have the same rear end as the Z/28 and you might be able to get 4.10 for that. Good Luck

I found these on Yukon for the SS. Doesn't look like they make any ring and pinion sets for the ZL1 end.

Maybe you would be better off swapping the trans for an M10 that came in the stock SS.

A 1LE and an SS are the same diff - yes you can run a 4.10. A 1LE will most definitely benefit from this ratio. Motive makes a good 4.10 gearset that a lot of the fast guys out there are using with good success. Add in a TruTrac and an LPE cover and you've got a pretty good diff setup.

It's a shame we don't have a 4.56 option, but the housing is just too small to make one of those work and stay alive. 4.56 with a MM6 (1LE) gearset in the trans, on a 28" tire, would be perfect for an all motor stick quarter mile car.
