Garbage show. 45 mins of redneck trash talking and 3 minutes of staged watch my flame exhaust racing. You could take all the "racing" from every episode and make it a 12 minute youtube vid. They aren't street cars, they aren't illegally racing under giant light towers with hoardes of trailers and people and camera men with cop lights at the end of the roads.

Hell, i know plenty of actual street cars right here locally that would walk most of those cars and actually do what this show claims. Anybody who believes a 2 1/2 ton loaded down shitty Farmtruck with his HP is one of the fastest street cars in the nation is retarded.

It's entertaining. I like when they roll up to a new "undiscovered" road and while they're taking measurements all you see are 100 strips of rubber on the road. Those cars/trucks are insane.

Although the show is fake, the cars on the show are real. They have been street racing for years before the show. I wouldn't consider the cars "streetable" but they really do street race and they really are good at it.

You have to look at it differently. Sure, Murder Nova only runs a 7 at the track. Farm Truck ran 10.3 when I saw him race. Not the fastest cars out there.
BUT to beat them, they run 1/8 mile on the street. You have to hook from a dig on the street, and you'll need 1000+whp to keep up. Not as easy as some of you seem to think...

Also don't think they really care what the ET's are, its who crosses the finish line first. That's how me and my wife race, just a lot slower.

1/8 mile and 1/4 mile are lame. Lets see them compete in the standing mile.

I have to admit, I like the show. Yes, I know the races are setup for TV and they are not true street races, but I do believe that they do street race these cars. I also know that these cars are fast and badass!
