I get 8 beeps on every start-up. 4,000 miles and no problems.

Found the solution guys, feel kinda dumb, It only beeps when the seat belt is off, I rarely put my seatbelt on when I first get in the car, natural reflex for me is to just start the car, then put the belt on. Doesn't beep when you have the belt on and then start the car.

too much computer in them that we don't need... they put "beeps" in every thing you touch, click, unclick , door left open, your key in switch, lights on... and so many useless "beeps" .. i would cut off that noise no need for it. we got gauges and eyes to see what's happening in the dash...

some of these may be mandated by the goverment particuraly seat belt warnings.
i also cant help but notice that any thing that happens unusual is assumed to be a problem. the unknowing owners starts by posting there disapointment before seeing or talking to a dealer....
how many people have complained about things that are NOT a problem and reduceing gm's quality scores????

Heh, back when I first got my 05 mustang, one guy was complaining that the radio wouldn't shut off when he shut off the engine until he opened the door.

OMG my Dodge Dakota does the same thing! i bet it's the same manufacturer and there should be a RECALL!!!! i want to have to PRESS THE FLIPPIN POWER BUTTON on my radio or better yet, rotate the knob all the way to the left because you can't always trust a button that just presses in! see, things like this is the same reason why i have manual windows cause you CAN'T, TRUST, technology! it's something else that breaks and they can't make it like it used to be!!

i get the urge to punch people in the face when i hear that...
