Brake upgrade - rotors/pads
Hello all
My pads need replacing in around 3-4km so thinking maybe it would be better to upgrade both pads and rotors. I saw an ebc package for both for a good price - any feedback on these? Any other suggestions welcome. Thanks in advance |

I have them on my car. They look nice and I have had no issues, the fronts are one piece unlike the two piece oem ones. I don’t track my car so I don’t need the cooling the two piece are suppose to give.

Are those dimpled & slotted or drilled all the way thru?

performance is 90% the same, brake dust is a night and day difference, almost nonexistent. as for the EBC package, i have no experience with them. |

I drive very aggressively and my stock brakes would fade horribly. Stopping power increased a lot with this setup, was almost $800 though. Much less dust than stock

A few years ago, I installed Stop Tech 2 pc rotors (got a great deal before they raised the prices) on all 4 corners along with Powerstop Z26 pads on the front, Goodridge stainless steel brake lines and swapped the fluid to Castrol DOT 4 synthetic.

Are far as price is concerned I found that the StopTech slotted rotors and StopTech Sport brake pads to be not only a excellent price but also works well for street duty and track duty. Also using the Brembo and StopTech calipers the brake dust is low using the StopTech Sport brake pads the same as the GM Genuine brake pads. I had good success with the StopTech products.
