Sema Camaros are not attractive at all
they have too much excess and are bulky....they take away from the simple uncluttered beauty of he camaro....and move far from where the concept started...
anybody feel like i do...like the camaros were riced out???

I have a feeling that anything deviating from the concept just a little bit seems inferior to you. (not a bad thing; just an observation on my part)
These cars were meant to showcase all the different accessories GM is planning to offer for the Camaro, so in that respect -- I like them (especially BLACK). But I do agree with you, in the idea that the Camao looks better when its not all dressed up. I rambled......does that make sense? |

I respectfully disagree with your statement under the "Different strokes for different folks" edict.

I loved the interior of JR's car but didn't care for the colors. It pretty much is whatever floats your boat.
The BLACK was awesome but would be too hard to keep clean. Had a 2002 Silverado and it was a bite in the butt to keep clean. Looked good when it was clean but too much maintenance for me. |

I would have prefered to see perhaps one of the cars with a "tip of the hat" to the concept. GM nailed it all the way with the overall look - and now seem to be backing away from it.
Historically the tack on goodies come adout year three or four. Update No proper stripes = no 2010 No order for me. |

The SEMA cars look pretty cool. I for one do prefer the standard look of the car. I will not be changing anything on mine on the outside. Might add subs latter but I mainly listen to 70-80's Rock and Jimmy Buffet so might not need to add them.
Live in the south where I live and everyone has 3000.00 worth of wheels and tires on a 400.00 car. Kind of nuts around here. Not many in my town can afford a Camaro, so me having a Rally Yellow folks will know its me. Could be good or bad considering the police chief is a friend of mine. |

I would have liked to see some Concept-inspired accessories. Perhaps the metal gauges or, more importantly, THE CONCEPT'S SHIFTER Seriously, is it going to be THAT difficult to find this mod?

The 2010 Camaro was designed to be appealing to the masses with many different items for people to choose from. I too am waiting for some more customized parts (SS emblem for center of the grille), but the aftermarket has not had a chance to get these Camaro's and design parts.
You may see the shifter from the concept available at a later time.
