Track Day at Watkins Glen
A couple weekends ago I did a track day up at Watkins Glen in the 1LE. I got a GoPro set up to record the last couple runs, the video is a little shaky but I managed to get it oriented to get a descent view. I was taking it pretty easy all day since it was the first time on the track with this car, it def had a lot more left. I'm hoping to get it back up there in the spring and push it a little harder

I love that track! thanks for sharing.
Good video, it's not too shaky.

I was with NASA northeast. It's usually a good mix of cars, usually a good showing of corvettes with a few Camaros and mustangs in there. I think I was the only camaro there on my day though...

I noticed a lot of people have their windows open. Is that a requirement at the track?

Yep, track rule. As long as someone is in the seat, that window needs to be open. It's a safety consideration in the event of something ugly happening and you need to get out/get taken out quickly...

Would be cool to get a group together to hit one of the track days up there together sometime. Would be sweet to have a group of 3 or 4 1LE's out on the track at once

I could probably get a ZL1 and a 10 SS with Pedders suspension mods to go next season. They've been asking me about getting out to WGI for a track day.

I understand the reason for the windows being down, but I think there is also an argument for having them up. In case of a rollover it would prevent arms from hanging out the window.
