Smart That should provide a good seal.

LED bulbs

My initial silicone wrap kind of loosened one connection, just had to re-wrap it. The bulbs have been fine.

How is their brightness compared to stock? Is the light dispersed evenly thru the lense as LEDs tend to project brightest straight ahead compared to the spherical evenness projection of incandescent bulbs? Is there a significant difference in brightness between the tail light and brake light? Thanks again. Much appreciated!

They are brighter, and they fill the lenses. This is LEDs on right, stock on left hazard lights.

I only know the brake lights are brighter by how much brighter they reflect off the garage door.

Thanks AGAIN for your reply ...and the PICs very much appreciated! I'm definitely going to give them a try based on your feedback.

FWIW ...check out post#59 in this thread for another (cheap & EZ) LED lighting mod you might want to consider https://www.camaro5.com/forums/showt...9#post11079479

Yes, because the Afterburners are poopie, and nobody wants to spend $400 on poopie. These are $30 a side and warranty.
