Thanks and see you guys
Hi,
I was mostly a reader and not a poster after the 1st year of my Camaro. I bought a 1ss manual new in 2015 and just traded it in on a 2021 scat pack this last thurs. The camaro was a good car and the scat pack feels like it will be too. Both have the same manual tremec transmission which I like a lot. The camaro had about 76,000 miles on it. Thanks for all that I learned from you guys and was entertained when I needed a diversion at work. Good luck with your cars and whatever you drive in the future. I still want a Challenger Scat Pact. They were neck and neck the whole time I was shopping. Enjoy!

I drove myself nuts going back and forth between a Challenger and a gen. 5 for a long time. I'm a Dodge guy, which made the decision harder. In the end, I the sex appeal of the gen 5 won me over, but I can certainly understand your decision. I hope it's a great car for you. Enjoy!

That’s a nice looking car. Congrats on the purchase. When my wife and I were shopping, we knew we wanted the 5th gen Camaro, but we weren’t in a hurry and wanted to find the right one so it took a couple of years of intermittent shopping and test drives at various dealerships. During those years, there were a few Challengers and GT350s that had me tempted to broaden my search. I think we’re pretty lucky to have such a good selection of modern muscle for several years now. Enjoy that beast! Hope she’s everything you wished for. No need to cut any ties, check back in with us, we’re all car enthusiasts when it comes down to it.

Great choice, Love the color. I looked for something like that used before the Camaro purchase but they were hard to find and prices too high. The extra punch the scat pack has would make it fun vs the generic v8 challenger or stock SS.
It's still a good time to trade in a used car on a new car. Used to used trades not so much value added there. Keep it in the garage at night so it STAYS yours. |

Very nice. Although I love my 5th gen, if I had to replace it the only new car I would even consider would be a Scat Pack Challenger. Enjoy it.
