Hood liner clips

Hood Liner Clips

Is there another option than the OEM clips for am easy quick removal.

With hood cutouts (ie Hex Vents and ACS Vents) noticed hood liner becoming stained after several washes. It appears soap from washing builds up when draining from vents.

The Goal is to purchase another Hood Liner for Shows only with Custom Airbrushing. However, I wanted clips that would be quick, resuable and easy to remove.

Any ideas??

I don't mean to be rude, but what exactly is wrong with the OEM clips? They are easy, quick and reusable like you mentioned..

I actually have not taken the liner off before, but was told the clips can be a pain in the A$$ at times. Person at local car show mention another type of clip that had a quick release?? Cannot seem to find.

OEM's are pretty quick. You can get a box of 20 off EBay for 6 bucks if you happen to break one.

Got a link or what you used to search for on these... having issues finding them.

There are many listed. The Camaro's will take 1.75 inch to 2 inch without a problem. Even though the OEM that are originally on the car is 1.75 inch I find the 2 inch actually look better and fill the indent more proportionally. Just look through them and find you best price.

I just recently pulled my hood liner off to clean it also as it had some white spots on it. (Not sure what caused it as I don't drive in the rain or winter). OEM clips are easy to pull off, but I have always been told that they are a one time use. Once you pull them out you should just replace them.
