Whipple/ Cam 2010 LS3 Camaro

Another car we recently did, on a cooler day with 93 oct fuel this cam/ blower combo made 646RWHP! Perfect, like stock drivability and mid 600s to the tire, love these ls3s! Check out the dyno vid and more pics here

9lbs, standard pulley with the kit. Its our CP600 custom grind cam we use in all of our CP600 packages, awesome sound at idle, perfect drivability and insane power. Im confident with a little more boost and a slightly more aggressive cam I could reliably get 700rwhp out of one of these. Thats crazy!

Doesn't the graph say 614 rwhp? Can you give us an idea of the cam specs?

Why does it seem most people ask about boost? Will too much boost blow a motor without making other modifications to the motor? Sorry for the dumb questions. New to the supercharger thing!

Biggest reason people ask is if I posted that number and said it made that at 15lbs, that wouldnt be impressive at all. Boost is a measure of restriction, so stating that this car made those numbers at only 9lbs mean it has a very efficient setup, cam, exhaust, intake, things of that nature. Boost doesn't directly hurt your engine, but these cars do not have a great piston in them, and if you push cylinder pressure up high enough, you will def have issues.

I was asking to see how it compared with my LS3 with Maggie. At 9psi, mine made 642 at the wheels similarly equipped. Compares pretty well

What are your IATs at at the end of a quarter mile run? That will tell you the efficiency of your supercharger vs capacity of your intercooling system. Its an interesting thing to see.

By the time I'm able to look down at it, they're not too bad. At over 130 mph, I'm more worried about braking just after letting off the go pedal. The highest I saw was about 30 over ambient. I'm sure they were higher right at the end of the run though. They cool down quick after the boost is gone. When I get back to the parking area, they are pretty cool. .

Nice Car!

If I recall when I picked the car up it was almost 100 degree out, hence the lower HP numbers. I'm sure we left some on the table that day because of the heat.

I think they have since made the 646 number with builds similar to mine.

Ben can correct me if I'm wrong

That is correct Havok1327, if you would ever want to dyno your car again let me know. Fresh tank of BP 93 and we will strap her down.
