I couldn't wait to take delivery of my car but had nowhere else to put it unfortunately. I'll take some pictures of my car (now in the garage of course) and if you guys see something I can't see, please let me know.

If this car was produced by the same plant in Canada and using similar material that my Gen4 Camaro was made of (almost like a composite metal), I'm not worried at all. My Gen4 was VERY difficult to ding or dent, especially around the sides. Just a better quality metal compared to my Cobalt and my Cobalt appears just fine. Some more pics to follow all! Thanks again for caring!!
Just now seeing this. I'm glad that nothing was wrong with your car and is a testament to how solidly made they are. Some of these replies have been very funny! Truthfully though, you were the calmest guy EVER watching your new Camaro getting pelted! I know there was little you could do at that point, but if it was my Camaro and I was recording that happening I think it would be filled with a lot of expletives!

The same thing did almost happen to me. A week after I got my car my dad wanted to drive it to work to show his friends there. He works at the GM Spring Hill plant, and he's told guys about when I had it on pre-order. He says they always ask "Has he got it yet"? So I was going to let him drive it because they said they haven't seen one in person yet. The day he was going to drive it I was getting Lojack installed, and it took a little longer than expected so he had to go to work without taking the car. Turns out that day Spring Hill gets hit by a freak storm with golf ball sized hail! They showed pictures on the local news of cars damaged. I got lucky on that one

Wow, I'd seen on the news that North Jersey had gotten hail the other day. But even their video wasn't as bad as yours. It was a sunny beautiful day all day that day here in South Jersey. I never would have believed the weather could be THAT different just a couple hours away.

That's not hail. That's sleet. You want to see hail, move to Kansas City where it is the size of a golf ball or larger.

Hasn't stopped raining since the hail storm on Monday. More rain this weekend. I want to get some good shots of the car and post them here for you guys to see. Yeah, the Cobalt turned out ok. Took in a little bit of water on the driver's side. Nothing big, but it does smell heavily of "must" now. :(
