1. good paint job
2. simple directions once you pullthe rear end - mounts with 7 bolts
3. nice fitting covering of brake light
That will blend in nicely, I bet, since you already have a darker CGM color.

Ok, here the details on this spoiler install...thanks to Erik at Lashway who gave me some advice on how to take off the rear bumper. It really is easy if you know basics like sockets and hand tools. In general:
1. there are bolts underneath, near lights , torx screws across top inside and under the mudflaps. you need to pull off the taillight bezels with trim tools...
2. bumper then pulls off easy and you need to disconnect key cable and two sockets for the lights - pull the red tab out on connectors then unplug.
3. apply the template and center bunch the holes
4. drill the holes a bit wider than studs so you can adjust side to side
5. mount spoiler, with the supplied vhb tape and loctite red the studs and tighten supplied nuts.
6. Reassemble and while it's loose, you can readjust bumper seams on sides

Erik will do this for about 2 hours labor...took me about 2.5 as I was learning...and had plenty of time...

this is really a nice look, and not like a wing at all, because it houses the brake light and stays low...it still shows the shoulders and I think a more appropriate name is an "open blade" spoiler...

another nice touch from GM is the pedestal around the brake light is carbon flash, not gray...

I'd agree it's not really a wing. Interesting though. I'm sure that will be pretty unique in Corvette circles.

Yup....the front and back flags are 5 coats.. plastidip "SMOKE " not black...a transparent spray

the corvette lettering is a carbon flash offering done by rpidesigns.com

The LT1 emblems that replaced the fish on the side are from emblempros.com

Were you able to figure out how to remove the rear fender vents when you had the bumper off?

no..it's still too far forward and looks like the fender has to come off....from the parts fiche it looks like a small screw is underneath but damned if I can find it or how to get to it....

I agree. Why couldn't they have incorporated the brake light right into the upper lip of the rear bumper? Looks like they forgot about the third brake light and at the last minute, decided to just glue one on.

Do dealer installed options show on the window sticker if ordered when the car is ordered?
