Raymo, I see you are running the CCW 505a's what size tires you running and did you have any issues with rubbing, I have 505a's as well but haven't dropped yet, running 275/40/20's up front on 20x10's and 315/35/20's in the rear on 20x11.5's

We are running 275\40r20 on the front and a 305\35r20 on the rear. They are pretty close but no rubbing,I thought about the 315's but not sure if it can be done with out rubbing since they are about 1" wider than the 305's.The only prolem we had was the parking brake cables had to be moved and clamped so they didn't rub.We also replaced the rear sub frame bushes so far, but we are putting a full pedders trackII kit on the car which replaces most of the oe bushes.I can tell you just the bushes in the rear we changed has totally changed the car for the better and the ride is still good.

1 inch, doing the math they are less than 1/2 inch wider but I guess when you are cutting it real close that can actually make a big difference

315/25.4=12.4 inches width, 4.34 in height
305/25.4=12 inches width 4.2 in height

The stance looks great, good luck with the car...

robertway, let me know if the 315's fit with out rubbing after you have lowered it.I would preffer the wider tires but the 305's are very close.

raymo,

How much did you drop the car?

The P-Zeros 305/35 section width is 12" vs Nittos 315/35 overall width is 12.4". Overall height is .22" in difference. I assume the manufacturer are measuring the same overall width/dia.

I ordered the CCW SP16A with 315 Nittos. Looking at coil-overs for a ~1" - ~1.5" conservative drop so I clear driveways and speed bumps.

Based on 6liter and robertway's work, I took the plunge. Also, props to John & Chris at CCW!!! 6liter is using 305s with his drop. I am in the same boat as robertway.

I need to make a decision soon before WAF changes. I need to pre-order in Dec if I go Pedders.
(WAF=wife acceptance factor)

Thanks for the info and nice ride.

We dropped the car 1.5" could have gone lower but I don't like it so low I rub on curbs ect.
The coil overs are the way to go to get the perfect stance or if you decide to change it down the road some time. Not to mention Pedders Have 30 settings for shock dampning and rebound to help with your perfomance or ride qaulity needs.
Pedders is having a nice Dec.sale with their XA coil over kits you get the stainless brake lines Free if ordered byDec.24

Will do, my coilovers are maybe a month or so out so it will be a little while before I can provide feedback.
