Onyx Black 1LE Badges from EmblemPros

Tried to post this in the emblempros thread but nobody replied....

I want to order the 1LE badges for Grille/Hood/Trunk.

I know a RED "1" with Black Onyx "LE" will look great on the Crystal Red paint of the trunk. But do you think the Black Onyx will be visible on the matte black of the hood, and the grille? Does anyone have pictures of this color combo in the named places??

I figure it might be visible because its almost a mirrored black effect....but i'm just not sure.

What about going with a Onyx Black "1" and the LE in CRT, if you plan on keeping the matte black hood. Of course, what you mentioned would look great if you had the hood the stock body color(which is underneath the matte vinyl).

Exactly what I did. Black 1 on my CRT. Didn't want the reds to be different.

Sorry here is a better pic. It is Black 1 and mirror finish on the LE.

For my hood, I used body color 1LE with matte black inlay on the 1 to match hood. Mines white but you get the idea:

The Onyx Mirror black will definitely be visible on the matte black vinyl. The contrast between the mirror and the matte, will cause it to be seen easily.
If you use a color for the main portion of the emblem it would be more visible from a longer distance away. Example: if you used white for the main part of the emblem.

Where can i find the SS front grill badge? The one that replaces the gold/chrome chevy logo.I looked on emblempros,but didn't see it there.

Got my aluminum billet SS logo from Phasetek. Expensive like $145 or something.
