Boost control without co2 can do the same thing.

Yes it can. Good kit, good controller has no issues doing that. You don't need c02 on a street car.

Probably any of the decent twin kits. Kits like the singles just push too much air through a small housing to control boost at high levels, or even get high boost.

It all goes to back pressure opening the gate. CO2 just allows you to hold the gate shut with a lower pressure spring. If backpressure isn't an issue, then there is no need for it. You can have the same turbos, one on a .63 a/r housing and one on 1.3 a/r housings. the big housings will have no issues while the small housings may. So it depends on the turbine/housings.

I know manifold pressure is good for 2-3 times spring pressure but over 4 is pushing it.

I've done 7.5psi to 30psi so far...

And that's only because I've 7.5 psi springs.

Cant see any reason to install softer springs, as I'd never want boost lower anyway.

No CO2 here.

Even applying boost pressure to the top chamber to blow the gate shut with spring pressure as well will allow you to reach a much higher target unless EGBP was very very high.

It isn't about 2x, or 3x or 4x wastegate spring pressure. It is about having enough pressure to ensure the backpressure doesnt blow the gates open. So a free flowing turbine/housing maybe able to do 10x spring pressure while a crappy tubine maybe able to do less than 1x spring pressure.

Even with truck based manifolds, 2" ID pre-turbine, BW 68mm turbine wheel and their 0.88 T4 housing, at 17psi boost I'm roughly 1:1 with boost.

Sensor took a dump ages ago though, only replaced it a few days back and havent tried most boost to check yet what it's like at higher levels.
I was pleased it was so low, as really didnt expect it.
