Xbox live has a system that allows you to report people for cheating, offensive language/behavior, etc (anything that they shouldn't be doing really, but its covered under 3 or 4 general categories). You can also submit a player review and the match making system will avoid placing you with that player if you mark them as 'Avoid'.

I do like that feature. I've herd that it work also. People being banned for X amount of hours/days for cheating or offensive motto's, etc.

I've reported a few a-holes in mw2 for boosting and constantly screaming into the mic. Nothing worst than a 13 year old yelling the N word over and over into my ear. Grrrr

even the few seconds it takes to mute them is too much annoyance for me. I wish there was a 'notify parents' option for these lil brats

I don't get why people complain about having to pay for xbox live. It's $50 a year.... that's $4 a month! If you can't afford that, how did you even afford the xbox in the first place? That and with the immense size of the xbox live customer base, I'd prefer to know that all that server maintenance and other stuff needed to run the service is getting paid for somehow.

I agree with BrokenArrow. Paying for XBL isn't a big deal and it's always full of neat stuff. Maintained well, etc...
I also like the simple astetics. Optional sign-in at start up is nice too. The PSN store is neat but on xbl, they feature new stuff at start up, which is kinda cool. Ya can see what new demos/games/vids are out without having to search for it.

The worst part of xbl is MS points. Why do I have to buy credits to purchase stuff? Why can't the price just be listed as is.

Back to mw2 talk.

I think the knife is to fast and OP.
If the knife did 40% damage with a quick swing, that would be ok. For a death blow, it would take a 2 second charge up. Reguardless, it's unrealistic.

But then again, a speed/tac knife kit is fun!!! I'm so confused

If you don't like it don't do it. It's not like anyone is "stealing" from you.

It just shows that you don't have the skill to level up the way you were meant to. Also, if someone uses that tac insert boost and I get nuked - that IS stealing from me as I don't get to enjoy a full game.

The shield definitely shouldn't be a one-hit kill either makes no sense. But then, neither does my ability to snipe people with the .45.... so I guess the lesson here is that reality isn't always the most fun model for a game to follow
