I can't remember all the details for the reasons behind this, but I remember the piece of advice being to use the sunroof for under 55, and close it up for anything above that. I dont thing it had anything to do with mechanical failure, I think it was a safety thing (road debris flying at 55 or greater could shatter the raised glass - I think)

I don't like the noise, and I remember reading somewhere that a portion of another user's sunroof had failed after driving at high speeds with it open.

Any info?
Do you have a link of this? I'm interested in knowing what part of the sunroof failed.

I think the sunroof was added just for people could have one. Has nothing to do with speed. I really don't think GM planned for people to use the sunroof at a 150 mph. If it was me, and all I wanted to do was go fast, I would just get it without the sunroof. Less weight=faster car.

Another question is what is a High speed to sasquach? I mean, are we talking about 75? 100? 150?

I would really love for the camaros sunroof to do the same.

I love my sunroof but have only opened it 2 or 3 times. It's very noisy at almost any speed. I just love the light it lets in on my IO interior.
I think you can drive with it open at almost any speed if you can stand the wind and noise.

A bit unrelated, but the fastest I got with my window down was 120 and it wasn't nearly as bad as I thought it'd be.
Where you on the track when you were doing 120? According some on here, this is a big deal to ever do this on the street. So I'm just curious and curious on why no one is given you a hard time as they were me saying I went that fast for a second on my bike.

Mine is open pretty much all of the time I drive it and at every speed. I just have to watch closing it when driving it - I've closed my hair in it a couple of times...long red hair what can I say.
