No way...so did my dad. Did yours work assembly? And where'd he go when they shut down? My dad went up I-75 to Delphi.

hey, 80Zedder, when I get my confirmation number, I want all of the folks that worked on the car to sign the build sheet... I'll PM you the scheduled VIN when I get it.

oh, and I think y'all should invest in a camera... I'm very sure that alot of us are going to want you to take group pics of everyone that's building these cars... better yet, we'll send you a Polaroid camera and a ton of film

There would be hundred of signatures on that build sheet. I will just sign it then proceed to hide it in the car somewhere. Under the seat? in the backrest? under the carpet? in the dash? Who knows?!

Also, pictures, refer to my webcam on the line post

They trademarked the ********!!!!

That's great! Historically that could be a match since the ******** and the ******** were the same *******.

Of course I'd wait till they're done penning an agreement with the Gov. before I did a happy dance.

Latest news I hear they're working toward a leaner GM, dropping/selling Saturn, Hummer, Buick, or Pontiac, so I'm not holding my breath.

I totally forgot about that thread.

In my defense I was a bit new to the site then.

Yeah he worked the line and fischer body paint dept. He went to delphi in Moraine then to the truck and bus plant till he retired about 6 years ago

Dad is one of many scared to death about losing his pension because the mess GM is in.

Just put a post-it on the dash of mine that says "Shunt in trunk". I will know you were there!

in every car I've ever owned, I've found the buildsheet... whether it was in the back of the seat of the '67 'vert, under the center console of the '88 V6 or in the trunk of the '02 Z28, I've found it... so hide away, amigo, and I'll let you know when I find it... lol

and while you're at it, make sure and get a group photo of you and some of your coworkers to put in there... I'm making a scrap book here
