Question about ZL-1 review - Camaro5 Chevy Camaro Forum / Camaro ZL1, SS and V6 Forums

Ok so I tried searching for this topic and I couldn't find it. I really want to know why no one yet tested the ZL-1 yet! its so frustrating

motor trend tested the car but they didn't reveal the numbers. why didn't they?

I've been waiting for a review ever since chevy announced the car.

Ill give you my personal review...Its awsome looking ....goes really fast....and can go around corners really fast...Oh and stops really fast!

Haha, I concur! BTW AZIZ, I think they didn't real ease so they could do a head to head comparison with it's rival but I could be wrong.

There is still a media embargo on the ZL1 . I believe it is lifted where we will see some reviews on Jan. 17.

Totally my frustration as well. I have all the confidence that C5 owners will easily break into the 11s with this car even though GM says 12.0. I think they did that estimate knowing that even a novice could hit that number, but those who know Camaros and how to drive will easily beat it...now, heaven forbid that Motor Trend does the first full test with their total Ford bias!!! We'll see even if it is killing me.

Motortrends review is coming out on Jan. 17 i bet it will be good i dont think GM would let them publish it if they didnt get a 11 or so in the quarter mile

Dont think motortrend will get a 11 in the quarter mile usually their times are a little slow depends on whoever drives of course bet road and track will get a pretty good time they usually do

How was GM able to keep all of the magazines from printing information about the ZL1?
