2011 ss convert to 2015 ss bumpers
I have a wrecked 2011 Camaro ss… is the front bumper and rear bumper along with head lights and tail lights from a 2015 Camaro ss… is it plug and play or will modification have to be made for the pumpers and lights from a 2015 Camaro ss to fit on a 2011 Camaro ss??

They are not really even close to the same. The body lines are different in the rear on the 14-15 rear bumper/tailight/deck lid refresh and the front looks similar but is completely different as well.

They will fit. I have a friend on youtube that changed his bumpers and they look great. Check out Mr2hard2see.

There’s a guy here username Nutro, he converted his 2011 SGM car to a 2014 front end. Looked really good. I’ve seen other variations done, somewhere there is a 2014-2015 Crystal Red Tintcoat SS that has a 2010-2013 Decklid Spoiler on it which looks like he must have swapped the 14-15 trunk lid for a 2010-2013 but still had the 2014 tail lights & rear bumper.

No mods have to be done, the fit and bolt right up from what I understand.

BOOST OR BUST

It is definitely possible to do this swap! Besides @mr2hard2see I follow someone else on insta username @evilrs_2013 who did this conversion as well. He got the rear bumper and tails off a 2014 and installed them on his 2011… Said it was difficult but worth it.
If this is something you do, please document it for a DIY since it was something I had also considered doing. Would be very helpful if you shared your experience!

The body lines of the car never changed. It was strictly a front and rear refresh. It will bolt right up with maybe some bracket adjustment.

I never said they wouldn’t fit I said they were different. What I meant about the body lines being different is that the 14-15 rear bumper supposedly requires the use of the 14-15 deck lid, as well as the lower hood/upper front bumper lines being being slightly different on the 14-15. The physical sheet metal lines etc on the cars are the same. I looked into doing the 14-15 taillight swap to my car, the consensus was that it won’t work right without the later rear bumper and deck lid. I didn’t want to loose my gm dovetail which won’t work on the 14-15 deck lid. The front bumper may or may not be 100% I can’t speak for sure on that, I thought I remembered there being something different with the headlight positioning but I could be remembering that wrong. I never was interested because I like the heritage grill better. I was mainly speaking for the rear.
*edit these are some threads I saved a while back. This is one of the threads I saved when looking to convert mine: https://www.camaro5.com/forums/showthread.php?t=567873 This one is one I had saved for a friend at work that was looking to go from the 14-15 front end to the 10-13. It has more info on the front, I didn’t watch the whole video this time around. https://www.camaro5.com/forums/showthread.php?t=504236 My disclaimer is I haven’t performed the conversions only done a little research on the subject in the past. These were a couple threads I studied at those times.
