Show me which one the above vehicles had 14,000 preorders before the first one was produced.

While you are factually correct today you are not paying attention to the fact that they are producing about 7,000 cars a month and are just begining the ramp up approaching a full production rate. Also every Camaro that is being built will be sold within days if not hours of arrival at the dealers. What your data does not show is the number of all of the cars above that are sitting on lots for months waiting for a buyer. Every day they sit cuts into profit. Your data also does not show how profitable each model is, how much of a discount was applied to move them etc etc. Sorry my friend but you don't know business. Simple volume does not equate to profit, there are a lot of factors that go into it.

Yeah, because everyone that wants a camaro can run out and buy one. The people that pre ordered them a year before the car came out haven't even gotten one. It's way too soon to bring up number comparisons. Did any of the cars on that list have as many people as the camaro putting down money a year before they sat in the car? Didn't think so. And if you think that it's annoying how many people are saying the same exact thing in your thread, you should have thought that out before you made it.

In four years when all you can buy is a max. 60mph, 36mpg, electric hybrid box, we will all be happy GM got the Camaro on the market when it did and we bought one while a car of this caliber was available for under 40K. I might have to pay an additional $3/gal. gas tax sooner than later, but I'll pay it.
