Best polish to remove swirls and water spots

hey guys! Polished my car over the weekend with meguiars ultimate polish. Thought it did a good job but I guess it didn't do much seeing how I still have lots of swirls and water spots. I guess I need something more aggressive. What do you guys use? I have Pc 7424x

Do yourself a favor and get a light so you can see what your doing. Polishing without a light is like doing it blindfolded. CD07 recommended this one which I got and it's awesome. Their are other types you can get cheaper, but get some type of light, you'll be glad you did.

I'd say to move to a professional product line of compound and polish to get the best results. Meg's 105/205, menzerna FG400 are some that I've had great results with. The over the counter products are only so good and will never compete with the professional lines.

I know I have used ultimate polish to take out some nice size drying scratches that happened when I didn't realize a Microfiber had contamination on it and did a wipe down one night at dusk only to realize my mistake the next morning. took UP and an orange pad on my griots DA and made a few passes dropping the speed as I went and it finished up nicely. didn't think it would work as well as it did. simply picked the least aggressive item I had on hand and to my surprise I hit the mark. thought I would have to go much more aggressive.

Ultimate polish starts like a polish and finishes like a glaze. guessing that it might have hide some swirls temporarily. The swirl finding light is a good idea, that way you know when correction is done for sure. wandering what pad was used initially

This is the best new product I have used in a while.
