It's the same one pictured above many times. Thanks!!

P.S. I will take it to the dealer if necessary, but I want to make sure it's necessary 1st.
Also, slides 136 thru 146 on this thread show some area details.

I thought it might be wrong because it angles outward slightly instead of inward, but I am really not sure at all. How do I get from this view to the view in the attatched pic from the bulletin to see it the screws are in the correct postion? Dealer has no clue.

How do we get a copy of this bulletin? I want it in hand when I take mine into the dealers for it's first oil change.

Thanks for posting Tech Bulletin. Finally called my dealer this morning. He's going to have the Service manager research the bulletin, determine what if anything they need to order then call me back to schedule.

The rub 'mark' on my cloth is definitely more than a mark, its not through the top but the cloth is pretty well fubar'd. ~1,200 miles with probably 1,198 of them top down.

I'll post back when it goes through service process.

No parts needed...unless they replace your top, which sounds like yours needs. I think basically, if the wears have cut through the fabric, top would be replaced, if just "smashed", it will eventually come back out after repair and washing/time.

got the answer, finally.

My salesman and I just finished examining the bulleitn pics and my pics and its now clear that my vert screws are in the proper postion. You all were right on this! Thanks to all of you and if anyone needs help with this topic, Camaro5 is your place to come to.

Just want to ask if anyone who has had this prob fixed or verified it was not a prob that your top no longer has any wear marks. THanks!!

Just moved my screws to the 2 holes that the bulletin recommend...we'll see if it stops the wear marks. It is interesting that both sets of holes are on the plastic piece, and why were the wrong ones used on the production line. My guess is originally there was one hole set and it was presenting the problem. GM then added the "fix" holes to all existing plastic pieces (so they could be used), but did not properly instruct the production line and they thereforeassembled incorrectly.

Easy home fix...hopefully it takes care of it.

Even though my holes are in the "correct" position based on the GM photo, I'm not opening my top until there is more confirmation from others here that this fixes the prob.

I haven't seen any rub marks since they replaced my top. I got my car back last Friday
