For that kind of money I would buy the Texas Speed headers.

I would bump up to the 1 and 7/8. I think there a little extra like under 100$ but it will be way better for the sc. As far as the brand it's all in what name you want on your car.

I would go at least 1 7/8 with whipple. I am considering same set up and looking at these headers http://www.bigflowexhaust.com/camaro_2010_exhaust.shtml

As stated above, I would also go with 1-7/8. The brand you choose depends on your tastes. There is nothing wrong with BBK headers. However I went with OBX headers. They came with HF cats and I paid less than $700 shipped. And BTW, do not get chrome...get 304 SS or ceramic coated.

If at all possible, I would step up to the 2" Primaries offered by one of the other manufacturers. I think Kooks, American Racing, and Stainless Works all make 2".

Since you're talking about the whipple or any boosted application, i'd suggest you skip the cats all together and go with just off road connection pipes. Many, if not most of the boosted guys have ditched their cats because they don't hold up to the added exhaust volume and heat. That would also save you $300 or so since the LT's will come with the connection pipes.

If your not going into the double digits for boost, the BBK headers will not hold you back. Obviously the larger the headers, the more they flow, but the more $$$ your out. I'm picking my maggie up today and I've had my BBK LT's since they first started development on them. I'm right @ 50k miles and they look just as good now as they did when they went on.

I have the 1 7/8" JBA's and they are VERY nice for the money. BBK is a great header
but make sure you get stainless. Great Deal Here: http://www.camaro5.com/forums/showth...highlight=jba* |
