Lol i would of entered if i had the car dialed down a bit more, right now happy to even have it running after all these transmission issues
Yeah track prep should be good also, i know on regular friday nights it might as well be labeled no prep. Conditions are pretty horrible with 90% of the people on street tires slinging dirt all over the place |

I plan to leave my house about 2:30 so I should be at RPR about 3:15 then I will be asking a lot of questions about how to check in, pay, and tech. Probably wont be ready to make my first run until ~ 4 pm.
For whatever reason my first pass is pretty much always terrible (missed gear, jitters, or something), and my second or third is typically the best of the day. Guess we will see. Just from the one time I really "hit it" in the video I posted, the car is going to beat 10.5 but I don't have a clue by how much. Might go 10.2 ish, guess we will see later today

Thanks Dan. I have no idea what to expect. I did a little internet research and a "True Street" class at another LS type of event required someone to ride with you for a 30 mile drive. I mean, that is fine with me because I am driving about that far to reach the track, lol. It's just that if a lot of cars show up it might take a long time to get your tech card just to make a couple of passes on the track. Who knows. There were other strange rules too. You cant have an air compressor (you can let out air but not put any back in). Once you get a tech card you cant raise your hood or open the trunk unless it is to turn on NOS. Like I said, it will be interesting.
If anyone is still following this thread, I will post up some results later tonight or tomorrow afternoon. If I am lucky, one of the kids will grab some video I can put on YouTube, so check back later.

I have done several but they were in my 93 foxbody when it was NA... The rules all seem to vary a bit. Some places tech harder than others. Most events have helpful participants you can ask because everyone is there for a good time...

Wellllll after all of that the event was rescheduled to September 23 due to rain.
Guess now it is back to the 8/26 track rental to see how it does.
