any thoughts on running a meth kit on top of nitrous for my v6? just trying to see what the thought is and get educated on it?

Dont think you would get alot of benefit out of it. It may allow you to run more timing with the nx kit or a bigger shot. You could also do that with a stand alone fuel system and some good gas and be more reliable.

I guess it could be worth if you ran a good bit of meth in it and got a kit cheap. Would def be something i would check my a/f and knock on. Kind of like running race gas with out having to buy race gas KINDA. It would really shine if you were SC.

Just like F/I, at some point you will need more fuel to run a bigger shot. Until we get a HPFP that can provide more fuel, you could rely upon Methanol for that extra fuel. Of course you'll need a tune to handle the bigger shot and to properly use the Meth.

This is just me but if If I wanted more fuel for my nx I would buy a stand alone system with a 1 gallon tank. They are simple and work good. I do have a methanol kit I may sell I will know for sure in a week or so that you can pick up cheap. Imo thought you may be more benefit and safety from a stand alone since your inlet air temps arent am issue.

Problem is, I don't think anyone has done this with the DI LLT. It would probably work, but we know Meth works and he only needs it at the track.

I understand but you can put a stand alone fuel system on any car made you can put one on your grandmothers caravan. Just giving options. I still think you can put the money in other places if you want to be faster. And if your going to just run it at the track just run some higher octane fuel. Just thinking out loud not sure you will see alot of benefit out of a meth kit with no sc and there are better ways to do it and be safer. Just my thinking though.

i was under the impression i could have the meth injection set up to be used separately and also when i spray nitrous... from reading on various sites i thought the meth injection could be setup to spray at high rpm (vacuum) levels, therefor i could basically have it set so id gain some extra HP when downshifting and passing someone on the hwy or wherever?
let me know how wrong i am lol

You not going to gain power Unless you car advances timing with the meth. The meth can keep you from losing power if your having problems with high IAT's and/or knock. It could also help if you were spraying with some bad gas i guess. If your running meth with no advanced timing and have no high IAT issues then the way i see it you would actually lose power cause your A/f ratio will be going really rich.

Im sure it would be Easy to figure out how to wire it where it only come on when your spraying. unless your running it with some advanced timing i dont see how your going to gain anything with a 75 shot you dont need it I wouldnt think.
