Question 1. Yep. It gives it that throaty sound all the time.
Question 2. Good question? Idk.

So my 2013 2LT RS (V6 LFX) has the NPP: Dual Mode Exhaust on the invoice (haven't gotten the car yet to inspect it myself.)

Can I not do the same?
If so, will it change my sound/performance?

Thanks! Even more excited now that I know the mod will work. Can't wait to hear the difference.

For those interested in a comparison for the V6, I will be posting many videos on my thread here including side by side comparisons and before and afters on 6/11/13 http://www.camaro5.com/forums/showthread.php?t=300421

I just pulled the fuse on mine and it really sounds mean. Just another reason I get pissed off looks from Prius drivers. Thanks.

Tried this today, great write up! I only went as far as removing the lower threaded fastener though, then pulled the liner up instead of taking out all the cargo net clips and the upper rivit to pull the liner down. Took less than 5 minutes... closer to 2 really.

Nothing to do with the fuse pull, many have it pulled and have had no codes.
