2013 ZL1 6L90E transmission not shifting properly - Camaro5 Chevy Camaro Forum / Camaro ZL1, SS and V6 Forums

Hello to all everyone, My Z just all the sudden started to shift erratically, kinda like it was searching for gears. It only happens under light throttle and its really noticeable when the transmission shifts from 2nd into 3rd everything else is fine. If i really give it gas it shifts normal through 2nd into 3rd and following gears as it should. No hard shifts also no slipping at all. It really has me stumped I don't want to drive my car to minimize any more issues. My car has exactly 28,220 miles on the dash. never had any issues with her besides this problem. Just would like some feedback from any other members who may had experienced something similar and what happened to cause the issue and how did it get resolved. I did set an appointment with a local dealer but that's not until next week July 7th to be exact. My original warranty has expired in 2018 also... Any feedback would help. Thanks for your reply. I'll suggest this when I take it in for service next week. I'll keep you all updated on what the issue was.

My guess is overdrive sprag. If it gets worse after the fluid change, time for a rebuild. Do you do WOT with the trans in Drive much?
