Alright! So, Day 2 is in the books

Power steering complete! Not 100% sure I like how the PS reservoir mounts up-may need to look at fabbing up a bracket to make it "square" and flow with the car a bit better.

The AN fitting connection is nice, because you can position the fitting however you may need it. Need to zip tie the return line down and out of the way as well.

PRO TIP!!! When you go to bolt the bracket up, make sure everything is loose on the bracket and tighten them up "together", as this is a precision machined bracket, with extremely tight tolerances .

Also, make sure you thread lock these two bolts with BLUE threadlock:

Next step once you have everything tightened up, is to loosely attach the belt. Main thing here is to have the belt around the AC and PS pump. Nothing else really matters at the moment.

Now we move on to mounting the pulley-there is a small rectangle key that fits in the shaft and pulley to hold it in one place. Notice the grooves in the pulley for additional grip!
And, this is the 3.8" Pulley. I will be testing a 3.48" as well

Then install the idler pulleys-new and improved with stronger, more robust bearings.

And now the fun part, especially if you are working by yourself! (NOT RECOMMENDED WHEN HANGING THE SUPERCHARGER)
Routing the belt! Over the bottom idler pulley, around the outside of the supercharger pulley, then under the top idler pulley!

8mm Hex/allen head to bolt the supercharger bracket to the inner bracket. The lower bolt is easy. The upper one...not so much. I had to improvise as I didnt have all of my tools with me.

Again, tighten them up incrementally. Not one fully tight, then the other. Tighten them together.

And there you have it

Mmmm.....

More to come!

Going to do some touch up and clean up on the house routing today, then start mounting the intercooler and windshield washer assembly. Will be nice to have that again as I have been rocking without one since December.
