1" drop and wheel fitment question

2011 Camaro SS.

Looking at dropping 1" with BMR springs. I'm going to put TSW Jarama wheels on in spring to replace the stockers. Jarama's are 20x 8.5" with 265/35-20s in front and 20x10" in rear with 295/35-20 Nitto NT555 tires with hubcentric rings and wheel spacers for the rear (to clear the brembos). Will there be any issues/ rubbing? Thanks in advance!

I'm not sure as I purchased the wheels second hand.

Just did a search on TSW website and the fronts can be either 20 or 35 and the rears could be 25 or 35

If just drop springs . I ran tsw 20x10s on the rear with 35 offset. No issues and no spacers.
Fronts were 20x9 by 35 offset no issues. Ran 20x10s on front as well. Forgot offsets, but probably 20 offset

Thank you sir!

Did you time the bushings or get an alignment after the install? Planning on def getting an alignment but I called a few shops about timing the bushings and they acted as if I was speaking a foreign language.

I had hotchkiss and the bushings were timed.
And yes you need an alignment when lowering the car.

1/4” spacers are to thick for stock wheel studs. 5mm is max. I run those on front no issues, and I autocross.

would having aftermarket lug nuts compensate for the spacers and different wheels?

I did test fit the wheels before buying and they seemed to fit fine

It’s not about fit. 5 mm is max. Any thicker and you don’t have enough threads on the stud and is not safe. You can get longer studs if desired. But with you’re wheel and tire size you do t need spacers. I run 20x10.5, 35 offset and 19x20.75, 35 offset on rear. No issues

Thanks! I guess the only issue the guy who owned them before me had was rubbing with the calipers

Who knows. Did he have a ss? If so shouldn’t have had clearance issues with Brembo calipers. Unless the spoke design, and even the wheel design was not made for our cars.
