As has been said, the GT350 isnt a Ford factory option or car. Its a badass car and if they really are going to be signed by the man himself and only 2000 will be made ...I'd go for it.

But competition for the SS it is not.

I haven't seen any GT350 marketing vs a Camaro. All the marketing I've seen has been a pic of the old car vs a pic of the new car.

The GT350 was built for the GT350 Anniversary. It is not made to compete against ANY car. The article that the notion even came from was from M/T review....The car is built by SHELBY of America, and driven and hand sign by the man himself. IE this is a COLLECTORS car. It's owning a piece a history. And who knows, 20~30 years from now it mat be as valuable as owning the original.

The 2011 GT and V6 is meant to compete with a Camaro, and I think it will do well. Until GM makes a z28, the GT500 is still the king of the Pony cars. And before its said, NO. A Vette is not considered a PONY car.

I would never buy the Ford, but I do like their Mustang's and Shelby's 350 is cool! I also like the GT500! Love the stock sound of the GT's and up!

I think Ford does a great job equipping their cars and giving them good performance options. Maybe one day GM will do that for the Camaro...

He's 86 years old and very respected. And besides you crap all your life so even your crap won't be as rare as a GT350.
