buzzard luck. just because you don't have to use bluetooth doesn't mean it isn't a good idea, in this case it could have saved the OP a pocketful of money. Bright side OP, upgrade time!

We used to have vehicle inspections, but the system became so corrupt it was abandoned back in '82.

Not to beat the 'dead horse' , but isn't the drive a lot more pleasant without the cell phone pushed to your ear? Realy folks, it's time to realize that we are not all that important and put down the phones while we drive. It's getting a little stupid out there. Just saying...

Sorry to be away from this thread so long, for some reason I do most of my Camaro 5 posting from work, don't tell the boss! Actually I rarely touch a computer after leaving work, just part of 10 hours a day infront of 3 computer screen beign enough for me.

Actually it was a text message, so no Bluetooth would help. My wife was really sick and I was out getting meds for her so I thought it might be an important message from her.

I do not believe there are any current inspection in Florida.

Actually this is on a county by county basis. There is an official measurement of the pollution levels through out the year in each county, if the levels go above a set level for a set amount of time then that count would have to institute testing for several years. I know is Dade county I had to go for several years and I started driving in '94 so I know Dade must have gone until the late 90s.

Jason
I was exiting a parking lot, down hill into the junction of the parking lot and the street. The guy entered into the street, I knew about how far my car would coast but the guy stopped half in the street, half in the parking lot. It was 3-4 MPH hit but because it was a pick up with a hitch and he started to turn so it wasn't straight on it's more damage than otherwise. I'm sure a car with a bumper at my level, straight on, it might be a bit of paint damage at most only because the paint might crack from the flexing of the bumper cover. Instead I think I need a new cover.

O dayum that sucks. Sorry to see and hear that man. I agree with the others, a ZL1 bumber would look great.

ZL1 bumper would look great but I believe that would cost a lot more than an SS bumper. Seems like I would need to replace the driving lights also, maybe some wiring. I don't really have the money to spend on that right now.

If you dont mind traveling a bit I just saw one on CL along with some other body parts for sale in Tampa, FL. It is listed as "make offer" so maybe could be picked up pretty cheap.
