Help choose the best upgrade for my setup

I am looking to do one/two upgrades.

The setup I have is as follows:

BBK long tube headers/hi flow cats.
MRT v1
CAI intake
and trifecta tune

I am wanting to get the most horsepower/torque but I am open to suggestions.

I was thinking maybe a ported throttlebody. Is this the best upgrade for the setup I have?

Any thoughts would be awesome.

Best upgrade would be an insulator

IMO

I would buy the following in this order.

1. Insulator

2. Ported throttle body

3. Ported intake manifold.

Preferably all 3 at once and do them all together to save on install time. while you have it apart, paint the intake and TB.

Be sure to do a search for the threads on the installs many of us have done.

Budget? Goals? DD or weekend cruiser?

Honestly you're at the point where I would start seriously thinking about saving up for a cam and/or blower. Depends on what direction you're wanting to go. *edit* nm, scratch that, just realized we're talking about a V6. Browsing the forums via new posts FTL

TC wouldn't be a bad idea if it's an auto, or as others have suggested a ported TB.

If you're happy with the power, some suspension mods would be nice, strut tower brace, beefier sway bars, and performance springs or coilovers if it's in the budget.

Why paint? Just for cosmetic reasons or?

TC is a Torque Converter. Probably outside the budget, but either way, it's explained here better than I ever could: http://www.camaro5.com/forums/wiki.p...que+Converters

yes, strictly cosmetic.

If you have $600, you can just about get all 3 that I suggest. Contact SC1250 (Tracy) and see what the price is for all 3 items I listed.

Could be close to your budget.

Lastly here is how the cosmetics will tie everything together.
