I suggest searching through the convertible threads using the word "headliner". There are several results & I believe you'll find out if it's possible & how it's done.

not sure if it is possible...if it is the original top, chances are probably not.

some of the 2011's and 2012's had many top issues.

excessive wearing, 5th bow bending/breakage, water management bag leaks
just to name a few.

Try calling Enco Trim in Thornhill (905) 881-0464 ...they have many years of convertible top experience (all makes and models)

Thanks, I will give the guys a call in Thornhill.
Having reviewed all the issues, looks like it's in pretty good shape. I love the car

Bring it to a good upholstery shop, or back to the dealer. The headliner is a part offered and can be replaced.

Yes the 11 and early 12's had their issues, but have seen 13's and some newer having issues as well.

Any extended warranty? How many miles on it? Call GM and explain issue even if the warranty is up. You state it like this; "Hi, is the headliner supposed to pull away from the rear window with XXX number of miles on it? Obviously, the answer is no unless the damage was caused from an outside source. They should "work" with you on the solution. Did you buy it used from a dealer? They have to give you a 90 day guarantee.

I had the same problem. No big deal. The window fits into the headliner using a soft plastic edging. Just push it back into the groove with flat blade screwdriver. The hard part is that you need to be in the back seat with the top up. Quite a struggle for me at 6' 4" and 70 years old. Good luck.

2011 and 2012 those tops seem to be the "problem kids". GM finally got it figured out by time 2013s rolled off the line. But what a FIASCO !!!!!! There is talk of a class action lawsuit.

Yes, it just snaps back on. The widow is part of the exterior top and the headliner is interior. Ther are plastic tracks around each that snap into place.
