sorry if you think its impolite to ask. You do have the right not to answer lol.
No problem. It is really getting hard to tell what all of this will cost. I'm footing some of the bill trying to figure out the issues, but future builders won't have to do that. Here's some ball park numbers for the parts (top of my head so don't hold me to this)

Forged Pistons -- $1,500
Custom Intake System -- $400-500
EFR Turbos -- $3,000 for two
Piping -- $300-400
Boost Controller -- $200
Wide Band -- $150
ZL1 Fuel Pump -- $260
Intercooler -- $800
Meth Kit -- $600

So, that's about $7,500 just for the parts. Then you have to get it all installed and have it tuned. If you want to put that power to the ground then there's all the suspension upgrades and better tires. If you have an auto then you'll probably want a torque converter and a new differential. You might be able to get everything you need to run low 11s in the 1/4, including labor, for somewhere between $15,000 and $18,000. That would make a 2LS, car included, around $40K.

I'm sure there is something I forgot. Oh, and if you want to run more than 500 RWHP SAFELY, you will want the new fuel system we are working on. Don't know how much that will be.

For the v8 differential + axle, probably another $1,500 or so.

Definitely not going to get it on the dyno tonight. We've decided to use the MAF frequency to trigger the solenoid. That will require a 5V referenced window switch and a different relay. Aaron's trying to find the parts and get them overnighted. So, tomorrow is a possiblity, but more than likely it will be the week after he gets back (3/25).

Okay, looks like we are going to have to get the controller custom made. It won't be much $$$, but they probably can't get it to us until Monday. Dyno will definitely be postponed until the week of 3/25.

Add another $100 bucks to the build........LOL. Sometimes you just have to take control and build what cha need. Hope it all goes well and we get some new results from you soon. Everyone is just getting itchy to get out from under the winter blues and see what the mods will do.

Yeah, we thought we'd save $90 by not getting another meth controller, turns out that wouldn't have worked anyway and the solution we are getting won't be much more. Lost time to save a few bucks.

Worse thing is there were a couple of VIPs down from a city up your way that I think wanted to see the thing on the dyno. That went up in

I'll see what I can put together for a DIY, but I don't know how you can make the plate unless you have a real good metal shop. Install will be a piece of cake if they make a kit. You'll just have to hook the feed line to the Schrader valve, wire it to the controller and get it tuned.

That sucks, guess they will have to just read about it and see it run at Cfest. Need me to visit any of them and pass along a message?

Nah, Aaron didn't even tell me why they were there. I assume seeing my car on the dyno was just an interesting tidbit and not their main purpose for the visit.
