2010 v6 oil? did it come with synthetic oil or regular oil 5w-30

i have a 2010 2lt v6 does it take synthetic oil or regular oil 5w-30 for the oil change Thanks

ok thanks the dealer told me to use regular oil anything else would just be a waist of money

Dealer is ignorant.....the V6 it is critical to use a good full syn for timing chain life.

i wasnt sure he said 2010's had regular oil 2011's and up used synthetic from the factory

To answer your 1st question, it came with synthetic blend.

But to better protect your engine your better off with 100% synthetic as most here have mentioned.

I just went to the dealer and specifically told him to put Mobile 1 not their demos blend crap. That "blend" has recycled oil i'd bet. so just stick with the good stuff for our babies...Mobile 1
