2010 A/C WON'T COME ON
Hello, I am new to Camaro 5 so please forgive me if I do some thing wrong I have a,
2010 Camaro SS 6.2L 3 days ago my a/c all of a sudden quit cooling. blower fan inside working good, but blowing hot air compressor wont engage, inside the car everything looks as if it was engaging checked fuse and relay, then hooked gauges to it, both sides equaled out to about 110 I hooked my snap on solus scanner to see if the hvac had any codes, no codes, checked all switches and compressor relay on/off everything seems to be working. changed pressure switch, but still no power to my compressor. after all this, I said well maybe the Freon is low, so I tried to add some but it wont take any. my electric fans are working and I am out of ideas, asking for help thanks |

You aren't going to get much help in a section that has been pretty much dead dead for 5 years.
Moving to Camaro Issues/Problems subform

jump the low pressure switch and see if the compressor starts..
if it does, you have a freon leak...

Yes usually low freon stops the compressor from starting, try this.

well it cycles on and off after a quick wash under the hood so probably either low on refrig or a loose pressure switch somewhere
