Plastidipped mine Friday!

Of course, this is just to test the look of the black. I'll be powder coating them matte black soon enough.

I love the look of leaving the lugs and center bowties silver, I'm thinking about doing mine now. Originally all I wanted to do was the rear bezels and decklid, maybe black some of the front bumper but the wheels look great! what do you think the shifter trim would look like?

Finished mine this morning!

Hey guys,

just finished my wheel this morning. Absolutely love how this stuff came out. Far exceeds expectation. I did all the work in my college parking lot and in my dorm room. Even showered the rims to wash them haha. So anyone not sure if they want to....Its possible. and it turns out great!

Here are some pics:

What's the texture like? I mean does it feel/look like paint or does it look like rubber coating? Does it feel soft and rubbery?

the texture feels slightly rubbery, but looking a them it looks just like paint!!! Love the results. And yes, this will certainly get rid of chrome haha. Stuff works great, and it only costs 5 bucks a can. big savings over powdercoat or painting by a shop.
