21-22 mpg to 16-17. Premium gas too but it's like 10% higher per gallon vs 35% when gas was a buck so it's relatively not as big a deal. I tend to get on it a lot more with the SS.

I went from ~19-21 average to ~15-17 (mostly city driving)

People who say what their mpg in their SS is need to say their average speed also, makes a difference.

I found my 2SS SGM in Nov last year and the dealership still has my 2LT sitting on the lot... I do not miss her. |

Fair enough... I probably average 40-50mph on my commute to and from work (6.5 miles each way)

Pretty much this. But those miles are more fun now so it's a fair tradeoff.

Averaged about 19.9 on 87 octane in my V6, now average 19.5 on 93 octane with my LS3, I don't think I do as much spirited driving as I prolly should lol but the power difference is amazing!

All I know is I have not moved, I have not changed where I work, so my commute has not changed, therefore the change in MPG is directly related to the only thing that has changed which is vehicle. OP: Bottom line, do what you want... |

you could have an average speed of 60mph and get 10mpg. All about that acceleration

...then again it would be helpful to the OP to see who has the same Avg. speed as them and than see the delta of MPG. but this an old topic... |

Commits weekly crime

You don't buy the V8 for gas milage...
That being said, I averaged 17-19 most of the time for my daily driving with mine.
