How do you like the GTR? A friend of mine bought one and immediately dove into it. I can't believe how drivable 1,000 hp can be!

Love it, I commute to work on nice days. 100 mile trip and love the whole event. I run e85 on the weekends and easily lay down 600+ to the wheels, nothing like acceleration out of this thing. Traction is king!

my buddy just sold his Boosted C6 and got a GTR with bolt ons... It's way more refined and a better car is every area. Handles great, more room, nicer interior and HOOKS up hard... It sounds silly compared to a boosted V8 with headers but it draws way more attention then the Vette ever did.

Wow.

I don't think people looking at a 5th Gen ZL1 are comparing to 6th... they're debating more on a 6th gen SS price tag to a lightly used ZL1...

You are probably stuck b/c of the Gen6 coming out, and regardless of what you think of it, there are many of us who are/were in the market for a '14/'15 ZL1 who are now waiting to see the Gen6. Yes, there is a measurable price difference, but I know I am all over the range (looking at Corvettes as well as ZL1s).

I think you car is worth your asking price. I'd pay a premium for a babied car, not a huge premium but the bottom line is I think your car is reasonably priced. I think the right buyer for you has not yet seen this, or it's just not the right time. I'd widen the "search" by using eBay as someone else mentioned, other forums etc. Or just sit tight, I'm sure there are others like me that are interested but not reaching out because we'd just be kicking tires for now. If you really want to unload it, you'll have to drop the price... you can try dropping 1,000 at a time, but I can tell you you'd probably have a buyer within days if you went down 3-4k. Selfishly, I hope you don't sell it and when I'm ready to buy it's still available!

It's a beautiful car, GLWS!

Chris

I said drop 8k because it'll turn heads. People who weren't considering it might just say "well thats a deal I can't pass up". Chris is 100% right, your car is fairly priced and babied. If you want to sell it for that price, widen the search. If you want traction on something that isn't selling lower the price. It's a buyer's market right now, so you're stuck unless you do something drastic. (Chris's suggestion of drastically widening your buyers by looking at ebay is a good choice too)

I have no doubt about that. After my dyno tune tomorrow I hope to be at 625 rwhp.
