Axle-back recommended for ARH Long system

Hi!

What axle-back do you recommend to use with ARH long system in 3". Actually it is connected to the oem NPP, I would like don't lose the NPP option.

Thank you!

My recommendation;

MagnaFlow Race Series Exhaust Systems 19266

and you keep the NPP function you want. Sounds great, looks great, great fit and finish. Straight forward install and you transfer OEM NPP units to Magnaflow system.

No, just the axle-back here.

I am doing the ARH 2 inch headers back to the flowmaster 817746 axle-back, these have the NPP option. I am doing no cats as well, this is being done over the winter so I wont have any video of it until next spring! I have seen some videos of this axle back and its got more of an old school throaty sound!

Just out of curiosity, what's the point of the NPP function when it's a muffler delete on the Magnaflow? Do the valves actually make a difference in volume?

That's what I was thinking as well. The NPP would be useless without the inner tips going through a muffler.

I have TSP headers without cats and went with the Borla Atak exhaust, if I had to do it again I probably would have gone with the S-Type muffler but I'm still happy. The link is to a cell phone video of a cold start with the valves closed.

I just did the AWE touring axle back. Sounds great but very loud. I have kooks headers. Check my instagram. Will try to post a video later this week.

We would recommend going with our Competition axle back (#19336) and a resonated midpipe for a good tone and volume that is still useable on the street. While our race system sounds great on otherwise stock exhaust, it will have an unbearable volume paired with long tube headers!
