So back home. First off I have to say this set up seems like a better driver than before.
So we ditched the VVT and went with a 3 bolt cam. Cam specs? Bigger than the SS4 lol. In addition Aaron thought it would be a good idea to add the Sniper intake since we had planned to spin it higher. LOL. Here is the first graph showing the sniper intake. Decent power but terrible torque for a stroker motor. Sucks too because that sniper sure was pretty under the hood.

So Aaron calls me and tells me it's a dud. And they are going to port my intake which already had the rod mod done. Here is the dyno sheet. Essentially the same HP but 40 more ft/lbs of torque. This was a back to back comparison.

My car is not a dyno queen thanks to the big heavy wheels and tires out back and the ZL1 diff but this fall I plan to run a low to mid 10 and that should take care of that lol.
Thanks again to everyone at GPI for your hard work and even more standing behind your work!

So the sniper killed your tq but held higher hp longer before dropping off

Yeah that short runner was just too much compromise in the middle, and not enough gain/extended rev range in our opinion. There certainly are situations it will shine, but a 3800 plus lb car that won't see over 7000-7200 isn't the place for it.
I didn't anticipate as much loss in tq but I'd have been fine with it if we were up 40 hp. However that was not the case!!! And yes it did look awesome. Lmao. |

I confess...
I was in Mexico tonight and ran a 15 Viper from 30-110. Think he was shocked. Had him by a car.

I wonder how that intake would work on a TT build

There's an AGP car on here that has it and makes 1000rwhp. Don't know how much of that is attributed to the intake though lol.
