Estimated install time = 3hrs. Performance to be determined at the drag strip.

Any idea how hard it would be to install? Would you have to pull radiator or any other engine mounted accessories for acess? What about warrenty affect?

I talked to my chevy dealer a while ago about this pulley because this is part of a performance v6 package offered by SLP through GM. He said that if I installed it, the pulley would be covered under my warranty.

Harmonic Balancer/Underdrive Pulley, 2010-11 V6 Camaro w/Bolt Install Time: 3
SLP's new 25% underdrive balancer for the 2010-2011 Camaro V6 incorporates a number of high quality features you won't find on any other aftermarket unit and makes up to 6 additional rear wheel horsepower and 4 ft-lbs of rear wheel torque. Among these features are a pair of extra tall belt retention walls that eliminate the belt slippage issues common with other balancers. Other unique design strengths include a 100% steel construction (other brands use aluminum), integral timing marks and built in puller mounting threads. Includes a new balancer bolt and detailed installation instructions.

NOTE: Requires new belt part# K060810 (Gates) or 81.0" equivalent (not included)

SLP Harmonic Balancer/Underdrive Pulley Features:
  • Up to 6 Rear Wheel Horsepower Increase
  • Up to 4 ft-lbs. Rear Wheel Torque Increase
  • Extra-tall belt-retention "walls"-no more thrown belts!
  • 100% steel construction
  • Lighter than the stock balancer
  • Integral timing marks and puller-mounting threads
  • Does not cause false knock retard or erratic power-curve dips
  • Includes a new balancer bolt

Really interested how this installs. As soon as I know install details I will probably order it up. Wish I could just go out and look at pully access but the little lady stole my car today :-(
