Excellent results !
I was wondering what products I should try next, and now I know.
I would expect the Wolfgang/Menzerna products to be formulated for German paints.
But apparently they also work great on North American paint.
What wax did you use on top ?

Beware of high speed buffers if you have never used them before! They will eat the paint of your car a lot faster than you think!! Watch a video prior to using one.

This is true, a random orbital polisher is also very important. It can still burn through if you don't know what you're doing though.

Most important things are:

Make sure the vehicle has been washed, and clayed so that the finish is clear of any and all contaminants. Light compound, (swirl remover) first, then polish. Apply no pressure, let the machine do the work. Be sure you move the polisher in the same direction though out the entire car, in other words do not go side to side and front to back on the same surface. Practice/learn on a car with an already damaged finish. It won't matter if you f it up.

If you can avoid it, try not to do any of it in direct sunlight.

Correct. That's why I use a dual action polisher. You can never burn your paint. Beware of rotary polisher. They can burn your paint if you're not careful.
