Camaro Listing Question

I was browsing through my dealers website, did a new vehicle search on there. I know my camaro is showing up any day now. Under the new car inventory search, I found a grey color camaro which I am very sure is mine. But under it is listed as a 6.2 L V-8 manual and I order an automatic. Are this listings correct or could it just be a typo?

they could have gotten another one that isn't yours, if I were you, I would be camped out on their door till they open!!! as least call as soon as they open and ask the question to your salesman. If its yours, HE should know.

I'm pretty sure a dealer would not list a car that was ordered by a customer on their website. It's a sold car so what's the point of advertising it? Though your dealer could be using it to draw up interest and then hold it for hostage after someone offers 5k more than you, but let's hope that's not the case.....

Some of the only cars that I am finding on dealers' websites are already promised for or paid for. It's irritating to call them up about a car and they say it is already sold.

Yea, had that same thing happen to me, we drove to the Chevy dealers that showed a camaro and either 1) they didnt have one or 2) it was already sold.

I've seen that happoen time and time again, always confirm its existance by calling and confirming, AND get the persons name when you call, so its not there when you get there, go striaght to the owners office and let his/her know what their people are doing and stringing customers along. THAT is a good way to lose a lot of business.

My car is listed on my dealers website, looks like it's for sale. I don't don't even have it yet. The only way you know is when you try to look at the window sticker it says might be sold. The salesman told me GM actually lists those for the dealers, whatever that means. Scared the hell out of me when I saw it pop up on their site.

I believe it shows up in the dealer inventory after it's invoiced. Mine was on the dealer site for 2 weeks before it was delivered to the dealership. It showed up on Vehix too.

I stand corrected. Personally I don't like the idea. Too much temptation for the dealer....

This information loads in automatically when vehicles are invoiced to the store. The invoice will arrive before the vehicle and the system does not know if a car is spoken for or not. The wonders of modern technology.
