If you have a way of doing this, set up some game cameras (just make sure that they can't see them), any motion will set them off and you will get some cool pics of whom ever is doing this sort of stupid stuff, get the IR type.

I really doubt it's envy. I would assume its stupidity!

oh my God

I can't tell you how I feel for your damage and your frustration with parking it in the lot.

Don't know what I would have done if I caught them.

No respect anymore for anything. Jealous punks.

Paint can probably recovered if it did leave any stains with a mild polish and clay job.

Try soapy water and a very mild brush on the wrap before replacing it then if it's okay the Adams Super Vrt will protect it the best and still not make it only mildly shiney.

Again Sorry
Jim

I washed it as soon as I found out about it with Adams shampoo. It seemed like it got everything off, I just hope it didn't etch the clear coat. I don't know how long it had been on there, some spots were harder to clean than others. I went ahead and hit the hood with the vrt and buffed it out and it seemed to get about 98% of it off the hood. I'll give it a few days to let the vrt fully dry to and I'll be able to really tell if it helped. As far as the key marks go, I pray I can get it buffed out with the pc

If you can do the work on car where no one can see you do it. The more they see how you care about it the more these jerks will want to hurt it.

I have had some experiences with these type of idiots. This type tried to hurt my Ram Air IV gto once. Enough said.

Best of luck

Jim

Man, this sucks big time and I know how it feels - happened to my SS couple months ago and haven't even received a phone call after filing a report. Few tips might help:

1. Upgrade your comprehensive coverage if you haven't already. They are fairly inexpensive.

2. Avoid the corner spots unless yours is a dedicated one. All my car damages occurred while parked on the corner spots. It just attracts those mfuc*ers cause they know you care for your car. I'd rather live with door dings as they are cheaper to fix. Change spots frequently.

3. This one is weird - don't keep your car 100% clean and shiny when you live in an apartment. People just get jealous. I just wash it frequently- then drive and dry.
