Cutout Switch Location
A couple years ago I put cutouts on and installed the switch just to the left of the shifter on the angled part of the console. Fast forward to today and I don't really like that location. I am thinking about moving it, yes I will have a hole but I found the new part online for about $100 so swapping it out wouldn't be an issue.
My question is, where do you guys have your switches mounted? Any pictures? I remember seeing a pic where someone had taken out the cigarette lighter and put a switch under that door, which I really like but have no idea what switch they used. |

I don't have any pictures, but here is where I mounted mine:
At the end of the dash panel, Driver's Side, there is a fuse panel access cover. Remove that, and you will see a flat portion of the lower dash panel, parallel with the floor. I drilled a hole and mounted my switch there. It was easily accessible, hidden from view, and convenient to a switched power source. |

I installed my switch INSIDE of my console under the lift open cover on the back side/inside where the 12v power outlet is and used the 12v power source that is right there in the console. Really outta sight. lol.

I bought cut outs that had a remote so I didn't have to have a switch. I'm sure it can be programmed to one of the cars home link buttons on whatever it's called.

put mine under the flip up 12v outlet on the center console, to the right of the shifter. No holes had to be drilled and its hidden under that outlet cover.
