Ls3 engine oil dipstick dimples
I was just wanting to clarify this which dimple is sign for low the bottom of the cross hatches or the dimple by itself?

You want the oil level to be in the crosshatch area. Closer to the top, if possible.
Just make sure you don't overfill.

Ok I'm just over the middle dimple on the cross hatches I don't know why they didn't put one more dimple on the stick

The bottom of the crosshatches would mean you're approximately 1 quart low on oil. You should be able to add half a quart, assuming you're on level ground.
