Correct, thus far, in the write ups and in the pics, it's an A8 trans not the A10.

Though, if the automatics are so horrible for track times.. Funny that they chose to put an automatic in their Halo Corvette... Based on the drum beating here, it should have only come in stick.

The A10 is reportedly the same size as the 8, or very slightly larger, but they've likely not made an A10 housing and torque tube to mount in the rear yet.

It’s a reworked A8 that shifts fast like the A10.

They are only “horrible” for track times because they heat up and you can no longer race where as the manual most likely will not. But I’m not an auto hater. They are wonderful for those of us in big cities to drive our favorite sports cars. You couldn’t pay me to drive my M6 ZL1 in LA traffic. Also for those of us that are older or have a bad leg. Or whatever. It’s good that there is an option. But for the track purpose the car was designed for, manual will never be beaten. Rock solid simplicity and durability wins in the end.

PS. I’ll change my mind when I see as many “Tremec Overheating” posts as I do A10 Recall posts.
