Hot Rod Power Tour 2014

Hi guys and girls, I am from the SoCal Family and will be in Charlotte for the start of the Power Tour. My husband will be going on the long haul with Hotchkis Sport Suspension but I am lucky enough to come out for the start.

We (Racing Byrds) will be designing and providing the timing for the AutoX in Charlotte.

Not sure if any of you guys are into Auto Crossing but if you havent tried it come out and check it out.

Or just come by and say HI

Hi All - Now that we have F-Body behind us, it's time to get ready for next week.........

Would you all like to try to meet up this weekend to make plans, or do it all via the forum?

I'm going to leave from YearOne in Braselton on Friday the 6th at about 11:30-12. I'm getting a group together to do that by advertising on Bangshift and the Hot Rod forums. It won't be just 5th Gen Camaros.

If I can get everyone's email I'll work on a contact list and list of hotels, side trips, etc. Also, please let me know what side trips you all have so we will all be on the same page.

I am going to need to stay somewhere else on Wednesday night because I'm picking Steve up in Chicago. If someone doesn't have a room that night and wants my room, let me know.

Just copying the quote from Hotchkis, sounds like a nice activity for Friday night!

I can't meet this weekend, so better for me to just use this site for info sharing.

The side trips that you have listed sound good to me, and I don't have any to add.

Anyone bringing 2 way radios? I have a couple that I can bring if needed.

OK, so I will get some info up about hotels, side trips, things to bring, phone list, email. Please PM me your phone number and email. I will try to do this by tomorrow evening. I can email the contact information in a word document if you all can send to me by tomorrow. I also have driving directions formatted that I can send.

I am planning on meeting Jim at Cracker Barrel at Hwy 53 exit off I-85 around 6:45 for breakfast. Trying to get to Charlotte around 10:00 - 10:30
